Guide
Ohio's presumption (ORC §1345.73) is the most generous in the dataset. Inside 1 year or 18,000 miles: 3 attempts at the same defect; or 1 attempt at a defect likely to cause death or serious injury; or 8 attempts across any nonconformities; or 30 or more calendar days out of service. Any one door opens it.
And if you win, Ohio refunds the FULL purchase price. There is no mileage deduction in Ohio law. Any calculator or settlement letter that subtracts a per-mile 'reasonable allowance' in Ohio is using another state's law — or inventing one.
You have 5 years from delivery to bring the action, the longest working deadline in the country, and a prevailing consumer recovers attorney's fees.
